Happy Sunday, friends! I wanted to share what I did for my FIRST birthday living in Nashville (as an adult, haha!) in case anyone else out there is struggling to come up with ideas!
I was fortunate enough that my birthday fell on a Saturday this year, so I had complete flexibility with what we wanted to do. I started the morning at A Moment's Peace Day Spa (a birthday gift from Jackson) enjoying their Mini Day Spa package. It included a mini massage, mini facial, and a manicure and was the BEST! After I went back home and got ready, we headed to downtown Nashville to grab afternoon drinks at Rare Bird, the rooftop bar at the top of the Noelle Hotel. It was cold outside, but the views couldn't be beaten. We overlooked the river and the Batman Building was directly to our right. It was beautiful! If it's cold out when you go, I 100% recommend getting a Hot Toddy. If you want a normal drink, the Los Angeles Mule is to die for. It's made with tequila and has a bit of spice in it and I would be completely happy drinking those for the rest of my life, haha! We ended the day at Maggiano's Little Italy. I love this place because it has such a good bang for your buck (as opposed to 99% of the restaurants in Nashville). It's located on West End and has the best mushroom ravioli that both Jackson and I have ever had. The best part of Maggiano's is the buy one take one deal. Basically, you order a pasta to eat that night (good luck finishing it, by the way) and then you get a second pasta dish in a to-go box for the next day. The BEST! Much Love, Vikka PS if anyone has suggestions for places I still need to visit in Nash, then leave all of your recommendations down below.
